Being able to help women feel beautiful is simply the best.We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2022, at the age of 60, Lori Helene Karlson of Okotoks, Alberta, born in Manning, Alberta passed away. Additionally, we have 3 fur-babies! My favorites include coffee (duh), the Black Hills, Okoboji, vacationing anywhere hot, wine (also duh), sushi, reading, working out, girls’ trips, and watching movies! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping Lauriebelles become what it is today. When I am not working my time is spent with my college sweetheart hubby-Scott, and our two beautiful children-Leif and Kameron. It’s also important for me to give back to our community in a variety of ways, which is why we hold “Shop for a Cause” events often to help an array of non-profits and causes near and dear to my heart. We are all uniquely beautiful, and our job is to ensure your outfit is uniquely you! And to really get the job right, my amazing team and I provide exclusive private shopping appointments and shopping parties. We strive every day to help women of all beautiful shapes, sizes, and ages find chic pieces that impart them with an unshakable sense of confidence. I am extremely passionate about Lauriebelles and our vision behind it. As of right now Lily & Lottie is exclusively sold at Lauriebelles but we plan to eventually offer it wholesale to other businesses. In 2018 my husband and I undertook a new venture and expanded into the manufacturing business! Lily & Lottie has definitely been a labor of love and a definite learning experience! The focus of Lily & Lottie is to offer quality, basic pieces that all women will love no matter their age, size or style preference. My online crew is beyond giddy to have the space we now need (for shipping and dance parties alike) for our expanding online presence. We LOVE our new location which features a vibrant lounge, kids’ area, and huge shopping space with an array of top-quality products for women of all ages and sizes! Additionally, we completed construction on a 15,000-square-foot warehouse in the spring of 2019. We began construction of our free-standing Lauriebelles location in 2017 and settled into our new 6000-square-foot “home” in 2018. Hence came the discussion of building our very own, customized location. location in Tea, we had maxed out on the space available to us. We grew quickly and after 3 years of constant expansion at our Brian St. Ha! Within a few months, a storefront became a must. I quickly attained my seller’s license, and off I went! The initial plan was to be an online shop, but locals quickly became interested in shopping in person, so my basement became a shopping destination in Tea. In 2018 my husband and I undertook a new venture and expanded into the manufacturing. I was always an avid shopper (sorry Scott) and felt I had a good eye for fashion, so I thought maybe I could do something with those skills. My name is Laurie Karlson and I am the owner of Lauriebelles. I had hit a point in my life where I was searching for something (career-wise) but knew my heart wasn’t in teaching anymore. Previously, I was a special education teacher and full-time mama to my beautiful boys. Lauriebelles came to fruition in 2013 after I decided it was time to head back to the working world.
